From Hobart's eastern shore, owners Mark and Alecia seek to elevate jerky to another level. Tasman Ch’arki’s premium smoked beef jerky is an expression of true fusion - rooted in the ancient Quecha tradition, shaped by Canadian prairie heritage, and refined by distinctly Tasmanian ingredients. Drawing on centuries‑old Ch’arki techniques (from which the word “jerky” derives), each small batch is marinated in carefully curated spice blends, then gently smoked and air‑dried to create Tasman Ch'arki's unique texture and deep, nuanced flavours.
