Since 1888, the R&R Smith family have grown apples in the Huon Valley. They have been growing apples from their Tasmanian orchard for four generations. In 1998 they went completely organic and are Australia’s first and largest supplier of organic apples. In a holistic approach, they view the health of the soil, trees and people involved as one continuous system. They don’t like waste and turn the apples that don’t make it to supermarket shelves into one of Australia’s most awarded ciders - Willie Smith’s Organic Cider.
