Nestled in the historic Hangar 17 at Launceston Airport, Launceston Distillery brings a unique heritage to Tasmanian single malt whisky. Specialising in handcrafted, small-batch production, the distillery draws on Tasmanian malted barley, pure river water, and carefully selected barrels to mature each spirit to perfection. Every step of the whisky-making process, from grain to bottle, happens on-site. At the heart of this process are two Tasmanian-made copper stills, featuring a distinctive reflux-ball design and Tasmanian oak cladding, serving as the centrepiece of the distillery.
