Highclare Estate
Tasmanian Mark Licence: 20632-138
Highclare Estate is named for its elevated position high on a north-facing hill, in Tasmania’s premium wine-growing region, the Tamar Valley. Here, the air is clean, and the rain is pure. Until 2016, the site was an abandoned sheep farm, fallow for 40 years. The stewards of the land nurtured this beloved terrain into a single-origin vineyard, in harmony with the stunning natural environment and the site’s incredible terroir – both qualities that make Tasmania’s wines renowned around the world. With the addition of award-winning winemakers and the attention and dedication of a family-run vineyard, all the elements for an exceptional range of complex Pinot Noirs, character-rich Pinot Gris, and elegant Sparkling Tasmanian wines are seamlessly woven together.
